Good morning guys to the beginning of our new made in naija blog,9jagunz.The blog is a place to discuss all things happening in the world of Arsenal FC by fans not only in Nigeria but all over the world.
As we are all aware,Nigeria has one of the largest support fanbase for Arsenal football club.This was further made apparent by the earlier plans by the club to visit Nigeria to interact with the fans and play the national team,Super Eagles on August 5th this year. However due to either logistic reasons as availed by Arsenal FC or security reasons as thought by Nigerians,the scheduled arrangement was postponed till maybe next year.
One of such said support groups in Nigeria is the 9JAGUNZ with over numerous members from all works of life scattered not only over the 6 geo-political Nigeria but also outside the shores of the country.This blog is another initiative for members,non members and gooners all around the world to discuss about all things concerning our beloved club.This is a place where all gooners have a VOICE.Having gotten all introductions of the way,lets discuss what is happening in Arsenalsphere.
Firstly,twitter is buzzing that the Carzola deal is imminent and can be completed in the next 48hours.With his parent club,Malaga yet to settle it's debt and wages being owed players including Carzola,rumors are aripe that player and his agent have told the spanish club that he wants to move to Arsenal.Arsenal has made a bid of £16m which Malaga is still mauling over and their coach,Pellegrini described as would result to a give away if Malaga accepts the offer.Personally,I think we would definitely sign our man.
In other news,Arsenal are thought to be back for the hunt for Niang,the Caen striker.Deal still not close but the signs are good.Another good signis theconfirmation by Wenger that 3 players would leave the club this week namely Pinkboots,Park and Squid.Arshavin is not in that list because the manager feels he still has a future if he wants it.Arshavins wife is currently pregnant with their third child and is keen on staying back in London.
